DIXI Resource Centre, Oslo
You’ll find us at Arbinsgt.1, 3rd floor, in Oslo. We have a pleasant atmosphere here, on spacious premises which people are very welcome to visit.
The centre opened in November 1998. For this, we received start-up funds from the Ministry of Justice. We’ve received funding from the City of Oslo this year, along with contributions from the State.
Opening hours:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 09.00-15.00 and Wednesday 09.00-20.00

We can offer discussion groups and one-on-one chats for both rape victims and their families. We can also provide information on the public assistance agencies, information on rights and obligations and a list of recommended reading. We hold themed evenings and talks occasionally, both on and off the premises, as well as lectures at schools and colleges and for public welfare agencies.
Most people at the centre have experienced rape or similar, and this often makes it easier for clients to talk to us. You’ll not encounter any demands from us – we’ll treat you with understanding. We’re here to help you tell your story, to make sure you get help to move on with your life, and to help you work through your feelings in the way that feels right for you. We don’t provide therapy, but we do offer self help. You’re always very welcome to get in touch with us!
Best regards
Herdis Magerøy
